Suicide Cleanup with Compassion and Dignity

Many of us at BioteamAZ have lost family members and friends to suicide. We know the importance of kindness and compassion in the aftermath of a suicide, suicide attempt, or self-harm episode. We combine firsthand knowledge and years of experience with IICRC s540 Trauma and Crime Scene remediation standards to carefully clean the affected area and salvageable contents.

The timeline of cleaning up after a suicide varies depending on circumstance. When you call BioteamAZ, we will ask a few questions and dispatch a technician within 90 minutes to assess the scene. After the technician completes the walk-though, we will provide you a of scope of work and estimated time to completion. If the home is a rental, we will need to coordinate with property management. Just let us know your situation.

Homeowners Insurance and Suicide

Many homeowners insurance policies and some renters insurance may cover the cost of remediation after a suicide or suicide attempt. Check with your insurance carrier to be sure.

BioteamAZ uses Xactimate estimating software, the same program that insurance companies use, so we are speaking the same billing language. We work within policy limits, carefully document our work, photograph all affected items, and supply all necessary photo reports to your insurance company.

If there is no insurance coverage, or a limited policy, we will do what we can to work within your limits.

We aren’t here to judge. We are here to help. Call 602-246-8326 or contact us.
